You can delete your Friends That Game or Friends That Travel account, and the data that goes with it, at any time. There are two ways.
1. In the app (fastest)
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Delete Account.
- Confirm. The app asks you to sign in once more to make sure it's you, then deletes your account straight away.
2. By email (if you can't open the app)
Email privacy@friendsthat.app from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account", and say which app (Friends That Game, Friends That Travel, or both). We'll confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in (Sign in with Apple or Google).
- Your profile: name, email and settings.
- Your saved games and other information only you can see.
- Games or trips where nobody else has an account are deleted entirely.
What is kept, and why
- Shared games and trips stay available to the other people in them, so their scores, history and trip records still add up. Your account is unlinked from them; you appear only by the name you played or travelled under.
- Advertising and analytics data held by Google is handled under Google's own policies; you can reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
Deleted data is removed from our systems straight away when you delete in the app, and within 30 days for email requests.
